On the 13th of December at the Cracow University of Economics another 27th meeting of the “Trust and Entrepreneurship” series took place, whose special guest was the president of Talex SA Janusz Gocałek.
The project “Trust and Entrepreneurship” under the honorary patronage of the rector of the University of Economics in Cracov has been run for four years. Lecturers and special guests who broaden the perspective on building trust and the role of trust in the broadly understood area of entrepreneurship are invited to the monthly meetings. The participants are students, reaserch workers of Cracov University of Economics, and people from outside the university.
The project organizers decided that the approach to running a business represented by TALEX is a very good illustration of what trust in relations with customers, suppliers and employees is, which is why the December meeting entitled: “What is the value of trust in IT business” was proposed to the President of the Management Board of TALEX S.A. Janusz Gocałek, and attracted a very high interest of the listeners. The first part of the meeting took place in the form of an interview conducted by dr Jerzy Kołodziej; in the second part Janusz Gocałek answered the audience’s questions. The presented content showed how, in a complex technological environment and with high requirements of customers, TALEX provides IT services with the highest security standards. The whole speech left the audience convinced that such a complex and demanding business cannot be conducted in the long term without trust.
